About the Client: McGuiggans Irish Pub contacted Webstudio Boston as their new Irish Pub was being constructed. They wanted a website for the new Pub that would highlight their soon to be build elegant 54-foot mahogany bar and Restaurant. They also requested that the website be easy to use for there customers and would be able update the pages on the website menu and special events as needed from their location.
Our Solution: The solution, to build a content management system website (Joomla) to give the staff at McGuiggans Irish Pub the ability to administer their website pages as needed through a secure admin interface. Flash galleries, php, MySQL, JavaScript, and photography of the bar and restaurant area where also taken to give people a good feel for the establishment. A custom newsletter application was built and the galleries where also setup to allow McGuiggans Irish Pub to add and subtract images as needed through a secure admin running alongside the (Joomla) content management system.
The Outcome: With the opening of the new McGuiggans Irish Pub in November 2009, and the launch shortly there after of the new McGuiggans Irish Pub website. The Pub has been doing very good with many customers finding out about the Pub through the new website. The staff is very happy with the easy to use Joomla content management system and have been getting a lot of very positive feedback from customers about the clean, informative, and easy to use website build right to their specifications’ and needs.
